To activate the youth of this area who were educationally backward to come into the main stream by making them employable through quality higher education.
To impart knowledge to the youth of this trilingual border Talukas about their Linguistic, Historical, Political and Cultural heritage.
To inculcate a sense of deeper awareness about the importance of trade and commerce, economic policies along with due stress on scientific methods and physical education.
To cope with the developing need of knowledge about information science and Biotechnology.
Last but not the least to provide quality education that enable the students to face the challenges posed by the policies like globalization liberalization and privatization.
The institution was established in the year 1968 at that time entire Bidar District was considered as most backward district educationally, economically and socially. At the time of the establishment of the institution there was not single Degree College in Bhalki, Humnabad and Aurad(B) talukas of Bidar District, therefore to pursue the higher education the youth of this area were forced to go to Bidar or Hyderabad but as the area coming under the Jurisdiction of these talukas was consisting of the habitants with poor economy therefore the poverty was a main hurdle in pursuing the higher education. Therefore the mission of the institution was to impart the quality education in Science Social Sciences and Commerce so as to eradicate the illiteracy an one hand economic growth in other hand.
The institution organizes several programmes, Seminars and workshops on Human values, Historical and Cultural Heritage, Personality Development etc. so as to prepare the students to face the challenges posed by globalization, privatization and liberalization, so as to make the students more responsible citizens with constructive vision. Our vision and mission and the initiatives taken by the institution to implement the vision and mission is a distinctive characteristics of the institution.
